Micha Richardson
From Performing Arts, to the West End. Micha is an alumna now working as a professional actress in musical theatre after starting with the college in our Performing Arts department.
From Performing Arts student to West End stages. Micha is an alumna who has spent over 15 years working as a professional actress in musical theatre.
Micha Richardson studied Performing Arts at Suffolk College between 2006 and 2008. It was here that her teachers played a defining role in her journey, encouraging her to believe she could achieve more and showing her the way towards a career in the industry.
After college, Micha trained at the Urdang Academy for three years, before leaving early to take on her first professional role in Legally Blonde the Musical on its first-ever UK national tour. That opportunity marked the start of a career that has now spanned more than 15 years in musical theatre.
Looking back, Micha describes her career itself as the biggest highlight, something she never expected, and remains grateful for to this day.
Micha’s advice to current students is to put your mind fully into what you love. There will be highs and lows along the way, but with dedication, she says, it will all be worth it.
