Suffolk New College is developing a new transport and driver training provision at Suffolk Rural to support people into professional driving careers and help employers develop a skilled workforce.

Driving Careers Forward

Developed in partnership with Road to Logistics, our programmes will combine practical training, professional qualifications and industry insight to support both individuals and employers across Suffolk and the wider region.

HGV Driver Training

Expressions of interest and referrals are now being accepted for our first planned HGV Driver Training programme.

The programme will support learners through practical training, licence preparation and support towards a career in the transport sector.

Planned start: September 2026

Bus Driver Training

Bus Driver Training is currently being developed, with further information expected in early 2027.
