Step Into Suffolk New College on the Coast
At Suffolk New College, we offer a range of courses designed to support learners into post-16 Education.
Our Step In courses are delivered at our Halesworth and Leiston campuses. The courses are designed to provide a transition from school to Further Education in a range of vocational options. The course is delivered face to face over 3 days, and activities include developing hands-on practical skills to support progression to Level 1. Maths and English GCSE or functional skills lessons form part of this course, along with an emphasis on developing the core qualities to succeed in education, training and employment.
This course would suit learners who have been home schooled, out of education, in a small setting for schooling, or who struggled to attend or engage in school. This option would allow them the time and wrap around support to settle into college life.
