Course overview

This course is ideal for those who have previously completed the L1 award. It is a continuation of the exploration of the warehousing and logistics sector. The East of England is a major player in the logistics sector with a significant percentage of containerised goods passing through the region. The course is particularly well suited to those that have been out of employment for a while and are looking to enter the sector. If you are joining the course as a job centre plus client, you will be guaranteed an interview within the sector upon completion.

The content of the course will continue to expand on the basics of the warehousing and logistics sector including a closer examination of security within logistics and stock control,

The course is completely free if your annual household income is less than £25,750.

Upon completion of the course, should you wish to continue studying, there is the option to progress onto a level 2 certificate in order to enhance your employability skills even further!

The qualification will be awarded to learners who successfully achieve an approved combination of units through a Portfolio of Evidence that has been successfully verified and monitored through Gateway Qualifications’ Quality Assurance process. Achievement is therefore determined by successful completion of the unit assessment with no further requirement for additional/summative assessment.
