Suffolk New College welcomed hundreds of students into their Ipswich campus today as they picked up an amazing set of vocational and T Level results.
Learners who study at campuses in Ipswich, Otley, Leiston and Halesworth came in with friends and families to celebrate their amazing achievements, with a 95% pass rate for all level three qualifications.

A number of the College’s Industry Partners joined the learners celebrating today, including: Chair of Governors, Terry Baxter, Lead Industry Partner Steve Flory, CEO of Ipswich Central – Lee Walker, Andrew Heffer-Lammond – Sales and Project Manager at HF Bond, Robert Peace from ITFC Foundation and Anne Denny, Director at Bows and Arrows.
This year, a total of 78 T Level students completed courses in agriculture, construction, engineering, health, digital production and design, education and early years, health and science pathways at Suffolk New College.
Also, a 100 % pass rate was achieved by all students who took part in the health and science pathways. And, eight learners achieved distinction grades across agriculture, early years and health which puts these learners in the top 15% of learners nationally.

T Level learners included Esther Pyett who scored the highest early years score in the country, putting her in the top 0.6% nationally for the Early Years Education T level. This also puts her in the top 0.2% of all T Level learners. One of only 20 learners out of 11,909 T Level learners, to achieve the top grade.
In terms of other vocational results taken by students at Suffolk New College – the pass rate for BTEC qualifications was 95% with 130 achieving positive grades with five learners gaining top marks (a double DDD distinction and above). For those who took UAL affiliated qualifications, the pass rate improved by 3% – going from 93% to 96% – with 14% (25 learners) gaining top marks. (202 in total gained these qualifications).
