Lecturer in Social Sciences

Up to £35,811 per annum

35 hours per week (up to 23 teaching hours and 12 preparation and other duties)

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Suffolk New College as a Lecturer in social Sciences teaching across a range of units covering Criminology, Psychology and Sociology. This will include teaching on our BTEC Level 3 Forensic and Criminal Investigation and Access to HE courses. The units include both internal and external assessments.

You should have a degree in a Social Science or a related area along with a good standard of education including maths and English at Level 2 or equivalent. Ideally, you will hold a teaching qualification or a commitment to obtaining one within a specified period. We can deliver teacher training and appropriate support to those individuals who can demonstrate the potential to become effective teachers.

This post is based at Suffolk New College Ipswich Campus. However, Suffolk New College is a multi campus site therefore you may be required to work at and travel between campuses.
