Up to £35,811 per annum

1.0 FTE, 35 hours per week (up to 23 teaching hours and 12 preparation and other duties)

We are seeking a professional with expertise in Games Design, including games development and concept, to teach on all courses from level 1 to level 3 in the Games Design and Games Art area. This role will involve teaching across a breadth of practical and theoretical units, teaching a wide range of design focused games design skills. You should therefore have skills and expertise in one or more of the following; Animation, Games Design, Games Development, and Programming.

You should have a Degree in a related area (or equivalent professional qualification) and a teaching qualification or a commitment to obtaining one within a specified time after commencement. You will also have literacy and numeracy qualifications at level 2 equivalent or above. The applicant may also be required to undertake relevant quality assurance training and certification to meet UAL awarding body requirements for assessment and internal verification of student work.

This post is based at Suffolk New College Ipswich campus, however Suffolk New College is a multi campus site therefore you may be required to work at and travel between campuses.
