Up to £17,820 per annum pro-rata

37 hours per week

This is an excellent career opportunity to join the Human Resources team at Suffolk New College. Working as part of the HR team you support the delivery of a pro-active, professional customer-focused, effective, efficient service to internal and external customers, which drives business performance and contributes to the achievement of strategic and operational objectives.

Working with an HR Business Partner and Assistant HR Business Partner, you will work with a portfolio of staff providing the first point of contact for HR enquiries, ensuring that all customers receive an exceptional service.

You will undertake a number of tasks in key areas of HR activity including; recruitment, pre-employment, induction, probation and general administration in accordance with the College’s Human Resources policies and procedures.

With a commitment to delivering excellent customer service, excellent administrative skills and the ability to be pro-active and use you initiative, you will be able to work in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality of service.

Working in an HR team who service three campuses you will be flexible and adaptable in approach with excellent communication skills and a team working ethos as you will be required to support HR team colleagues and provide cover as required.

You should hold a relevant Level 3 qualification and maths and English at level 2 or equivalent. For the right candidate there will be an opportunity to work towards the Level 3 CIPD qualification.

This main base for this post is the Ipswich Campus, however Suffolk New College is a multi-campus, therefore you will be required to work at and travel between campuses.
