Up to £30,018 per annum

37 hours per week

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Student Services Directorate, in a brand new role here at Suffolk New College.

Reporting in to the strategic Careers Lead, you will be responsible for co-ordinating the day-to-day management of the College’s careers programme, ensuring it meets those standards as outlined within Gatsby Benchmarks. You will also be responsible for leading our learning resource facilities across all our campuses, ensuring that the team and our facilities focus on and continue to meet the needs of the College and our students.

With sound knowledge of careers education, advice and guidance, and a strong commitment to understanding labour market information (LMI), you will be enthusiastic, motivational, determined and able to offer the best advice to both staff and students.

You will need to be highly organised and confident with strong communication skills, keeping a student focus at the centre of all that you do. You will have a relevant Level 6 qualification in the field of careers guidance or equivalent, along with a degree and a Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in both English and maths.

This post is based at Suffolk New College, Ipswich Campus, however Suffolk New College is a multi-campus site and you will therefore be required to work at and travel between campuses.
