Fees

Where an employer has less than 50 employees and is not liable to pay the Apprenticeship Levy, the training for Apprentices that are aged between 16 and 18 is fully funded.  For Apprentices who are aged 19 years or over at the start of their course, a one-off employer contribution fee is required.  (There is an incentive payment of £1,000 available for employers who are not apprenticeship Levy payers and who take on a 16-18 year old apprentice.  This incentive payment is payable as £500 after 3 months and £500 after 12 months).

Additional Costs

You will need to join the AAT as a student member.  This involves paying a joining fee which is currently £40 as well as the annual membership fee which is currently £86.  In addition to this you will also need to purchase textbooks for each unit, costing approximately £60 in total (accurate at time of print, may be subject  to change).
