Course overview

This exciting and dynamic pathway will give you the training to develop the essential skills and techniques required to pursue a career within Musical Theatre as well as the performing arts industry.

In year one you will learn to sing using harmony, intonation, tone and pitch and build your confidence by singing as part of an ensemble as well as developing solo skills.

You will then in year 2 focus on Acting through song, musical theatre Jazz dance and Audition preparation that will enable you to gain the skills to be able to move on to Higher education or straight into the business.

Over the 2 years, you will be involved in many practical performance projects that will assess your skills and techniques in this area, previous projects include, “The Drowsy Chaperone” 2018 “Little Shop of Horrors” 2019 and “Legally Blonde” 2022.
