ApplyThis course is based at our Suffolk Rural (Otley) campus.
Saturday's - 9.00am – 12.30pm
The course focuses on the fundamentals of the practical skills required within Horticulture. Learners will have the opportunity to gain skills including planting, pruning, use of machinery, and maintenance.
This course will support learners getting industry-ready, and support them moving higher up within education or out into the world of work. You don't need any previous experience or a current work placement to be able to join this course.
Example of units may include the following:
· Propagating plants from stem cuttings
· Planting methods and techniques
· Caring for planted areas
· Health and Safety
This course will take place on Saturdays.
