This course is aimed at those with a keen interest in Floristry, who are considering employment in the Floristry industry. On this course you will have the opportunity to learn the techniques to make a range of hand-tied designs and arrangements, and to develop your design skills.
This is a part time course, offered one day a week at the Rural Campus (Wednesdays).
The course provides learners with a broad range of floristry skills and knowledge to enable them to work in the industry or progress on to Level 2 Certificate or Diploma.
You will study the following 2 units:
- Construct Floral Arrangements
- Tied Floral Designs
Next start date: September 2022
You may also be asked to attend an induction day prior.

Floristry accessories pack: £100
Available to purchase from the college or you have the option to purchase the floristry accessories externally.
You will be able to purchase a floristry accessories pack from the college's online shop. This package will include sundries such as bases, wires and pins which you will need on a weekly basis. You are welcome to purchase these items externally and your tutor can provide you with a weekly list of what you will require. Your tutor will also be able to support you on where to locate these sundries.

Flowers required for the course are to be purchased externally.
We anticipate a cost of £25-£40/per week for flowers.
