    Course Overview

    This course is based at our Suffolk Rural (Otley) campus.

    For this course you will learn in a supportive and supervised learning environment rather than on the job. Health and Safety as a mandatory unit, as this is key knowledge for anyone working in the land-based sector. The optional units cover introductory knowledge and practical skills in floristry. You will be assessed by two external multiple-choice tests and five assignments.

    All students who have not achieved a grade 4 or above in GCSE English and/or maths will need to study these subjects alongside their chosen qualification.

    This course is ideal for learners who are entering the land-based sector who want to gain knowledge and skills needed to move on to further study or get an entry-level job working in a land-based industry.

    Tuition Costs

    No tuition fees are payable for students aged 16 – 18 on 31 August 2020.
