    Course Overview

    This course is based at our Ipswich Campus

    The full-time course will introduce you to the skills needed to go on and study or work in the Hair and Beauty sector.

    This course teaches you about the hair and beauty industries, the importance of personal presentation in a salon and includes units on how to shampoo and condition professionally and how to style women’s hair.

    You will also study a range of employability skills alongside your practical sessions including customer service skills, communication skills, working with others and digital skills for work.

    Lessons take place across three days and will include dedicated Maths and English lessons and Personal Development Sessions.

    Supportive teaching and learning environment to help build your skills and help you achieve and progress in College. Opportunity to practise your customer service skills in our on site hair and beauty salon, ‘The Zone’.

    Next Steps

    Upon completion of the course, students may be able to go on to study for a Level 1 vocational course.

    No tuition fees are payable for students aged 16 – 18 on 31 August 2022.
