    Course Overview

    This course is based at our Ipswich campus.

    This programme has been designed to help students in the transition from college to employment.

    The programme is suitable for students that would like to develop their employability skills, and helps prepare students for employment, to get them job ready. Students will undertake a variety of activities that will help them gain a good understanding of the employment opportunities available to them, and will undertake a work placement and complete sessions on CV writing and interview skills.

    This programme will help develop the attributes needed for employment and will improve students' confidence and self-esteem. Students will become aware of the importance of being resilient, personal presentation/ and taking responsibility.

    Next Steps

    On successful completion of this course, students can progress in to employment or work experience/volunteering. Other options are available and would be discussed with parents/carers whilst on the programme.

    Tuition Costs

    No tuition fees are payable for students aged 16 – 18 on 31 August 2021.
