    Course Overview

This course is based at our Suffolk Rural (Otley) campus.

Small group provision that prepares students for their next step academically and offers a high level of support.

Students on this provision have the opportunity of a varied vocational curriculum and will work towards a City and Guilds Diploma in Skills for Working Life. Students will also be able to successfully develop transferable skills which can be used in employment as well as independent or supported living.

This course provides a framework and structure to students' timetable and learning activities that will help prepare them to move into the wider college. Students on this provision will need additional support to help them engage in their studies and may require High Needs Funding for this to be provided. A thorough transition package is offered for students applying for this provision that links to an effective induction programme.
