Understanding, Organising & Delegating in the Workplace

Do you find it difficult to delegate tasks because it is quicker to do it yourself? Do you want to develop your understanding of how to delegate effectively to utilise your team to their full potential?

In this workshop you will:

• Understand how to develop your knowledge of people’s skills and therefore the most appropriate person to undertake a task
• Understand how to delegate tasks effectively, any potential barriers to this and how to overcome them
• Understand methods of evaluating the effectiveness of delegating tasks

The workshop is split into two halves:

• Morning, 9am – 12noon: Theory workshop with tasks and activities
• Afternoon, 1pm – 4pm: Guided learning tasks with assessment activities

If you attend the morning only, you will receive a Suffolk New College Certificate of Attendance. To book this morning only workshop for £75, please enrol on course code 160712 or 160817.

If you attend the full day and pass the assessment activities, you will gain ILM Credits at Level 3 and receive an ILM certificate. To book this full day workshop for £150, please enrol on course code 160715 or 160819.

ILM Credits can be built up with further modules to achieve a Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management or a Level 3 Certificate in Leadership and Management. The table below shows the credit value for each module.

For the Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management you need to achieve 4 credits from any combination of modules.

For the Level 3 Certificate in Leadership and Management you need to achieve 13 credits from any combination of modules.
