What is the course about?
Do you feel uplifted when you sing along to your favourite songs? Here’s your chance to join in a joyous online sing-along live from the comfort of your home. No experience or singing ability is needed!
What will I learn?
Singalong for fun is a live online singalong that helps you connect with others in a fun, virtual singing community.
How will I learn?
A professional singer/pianist/choral conductor will play and demonstrate your favourite feel-good songs from the piano. She’ll help encourage you to express yourself through song in a wide variety of styles – from Elvis to Ed Sheeran.
What if I’ve never sung before?
Don’t worry, your voice won’t be heard on its own! But you will be able to hear your Singalong Leader and a full vocal recording of all the songs you are learning. You’ll be able to see all the other Feeling Good Singalong members on your screen too and you’ll have plenty of chances to have a chat so we can all get to know one another.
You can download and print out the lyrics before each session or read them in large print on your screen during the sing-along.
What you will need:
You will need access to a computer or a smartphone. You’ll have the opportunity to submit a list of your top ten favourite songs via email before the start of the course so we’ll have plenty of songs to choose from.
What else you need to know:
You will receive plenty of support and encouragement from your tutor and the others in the singalong.
Are there any requirements before my first lesson?
‘How to log onto Zoom’ & ‘How to log onto Google Classroom’ links will be sent before the start of the course so for you to read through so your first lesson will run smoothly and be a really enjoyable experience if you sort out a few of the technical requirements well in advance. This will enable us all to launch straight into a fun and practical first session.
