Course overview

This course is designed for absolute beginners. The lessons will include a variety of activities to support you as you develop your language.

By the end of the course you should: Be able to use the language effectively for practical communication, have a range and variety of vocabulary, be able to understand and respond to simple spoken language, understand common public notices and signs, and be able to understand and respond to everyday situations and routine social conversation, understand the basic terminology and concepts of grammar, have gained insights into the culture of the Poland.

You’ll practice all four language skills – reading, writing, listening and speaking – with particular emphasis on oral communication.

You’ll learn Polish as it’s spoken today in everyday situations. After this course you will be able to impress your loved ones or Polish friends with many new Polish phrases. This course is run by native Polish teacher.

The course will then lead onto Term 2 and Term 3 should you choose to continue.

What you will need: A notepad, pen.

Enrolment End Date: Please note that the enrolment for this course closes 3 working days prior to the start of the course. Unfortunately it is not possible to process late enrolments after that point.

Timings: 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Course cost: £110

NB: Term 1 is an absolute beginners course which is not open to returning learners. Term 2 will be a continuation from Term 1 with the same cohort of learners. Term 3 will then be a continuation from Term 2. New learners will be able to join in Term 2 or Term 3 but you must not be a complete beginner. The tutor will need to assess your current knowledge and ability to see if you are eligible to join the group first.
