Course overview

In this study programme, you will study theoretical aspects of the subject and apply them to practical tasks. Topics include:

  • Domestic central heating systems
  • Principles/ requirements of environmental systems
  • Cold and Hot water systems
  • Sanitation systems installation
  • Commissioning
  • Maintenance

You will carry out practical activities in a realistic workshop environment. Classroom-based theoretical units are delivered by highly qualified and experienced lecturers, who will support you in learning to work safely, and effectively and to make efficient use of resources and materials.

You will need to pass all practical and theoretical elements of the programme, to achieve this nationally-recognised qualification.
