Would you like to learn another language without having to take exams? Planning to go to Italy? Want to look more impressive when ordering ‘filetto di manzo con patate al forno’ in your Italian favourite restaurant?
Then this absolute beginner’s course is for you. This language course is also suitable for people who wish to improve their career prospects, for relocation abroad or simply for a holiday.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course however a general interest in learning a language is recommended. Classes focus on basic conversation and pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary and learning about the culture of the country.
As new and returning learners are welcome to attend this course the group is of mixed abilities and levels of knowledge. If you are an absolute beginner we do recommend that you attend from Term 1 which will commence in September 2025.
Enrolment End Date: Please note that the enrolment for this course closes 3 working days before the start of the course. Unfortunately, it is not possible to process late enrolments after that point. Refreshments are available from the vending machines on the campus which include both hot and cold drinks.
