This course aims to help learners and Health & Social Care professionals to develop their skills and knowledge around Infection Prevention and Control,. During the course learners will find out how infection spreads and ways to prevent and control infection. This course will help develop knowledge and understanding of the core areas of Infection Prevention and Control.

This is a 1 day course, 09:30-15:30, face-to-face with online assessment to be completed remotely. 

Completion of this course comes with an accredited qualification and certificate recognised in industry.

Course content/units

  • How infection spreads and ways to prevent and control infection.

Assessment will include components of practical work in our state-of-the-art Health Science campus and an online suite of assessments.
