This workshop is designed for absolute beginners as an introduction to commercial floristry techniques.
Practical work includes bow making, decorative gift wraps and a table arrangement. Foliage, foam, container and packaging materials are included in the price. Students will need to provide their flowers in addition to the cost of the course.
Price reflects small group size and cost of included materials.
You will need to bring: writing materials to take your course notes and floristry scissors if you have them and the following to complete the designs;
Design 1, 6 roses, 1 bunch spray carnations (5 stems), 3 stems spray chrysanthemum, 1 or 2 stems of ‘filler’ flower – either Solidaster, Statice, Gypsophila, waxflower or Hypericum.
Design 2: You can use the above flowers for this piece however if you want to take 2 arrangements home, you will need to bring in the materials for both, 6 Roses, 1 bunch of spray carnations (5 stems), 3 stems spray chrysanthemums, 1 or 2 stems of ‘filler’ flower – either Solidaster, Statice or waxflower.
Enrolment End Date: Please note that the enrolment for this course closes 5 working days before the start of the course. Unfortunately, it is not possible to process late enrolments after that point.

Our refectories will not be open, so you may wish to bring your refreshments with you. Drinks vending machines are available on campus.
