Course overview

This course is designed for those who have no or little experience in floristry techniques. Care and conditioning plus plant and flower identification will be covered as well as gift packaging and a range of basic floristry designs. Students will be required to provide their own fresh materials. Some wires, tapes, foam and sundry items are available for purchase from the tutor. A materials list for the first week will be provided upon booking.

You will need to bring: writing materials to take your own course notes. Please bring floristry scissors if you have them.

For the first session, the College will provide all materials required to produce your first piece, please bring £15 to cover the costs. After the first session, you will be required to purchase and bring fresh flowers (up to £15) each week to the course.

Enrolment End Date: Please note that the enrolment for this course closes 3 working days prior to the start of the course. Unfortunately it is not possible to process late enrolments after that point.

Timings: 6:30pm – 8:30pm

Course cost: £145

Our refectories will not be open, so you may wish to bring your own refreshments with you. Drinks vending machines are available on campus.
