This is a 10-week structured course ideal for beginners or those with some experience. You will explore different ways of drawing and mark-making in a sketchbook using a variety of simple materials. You will learn how to observe, relax, and enjoy the process of making. You will explore the elements of Art: line, tone, pattern, texture, shape, form, and space. You will learn to work creatively in your sketchbook and develop ideas further.
Your tutor, Evelyn Planitzer, is an experienced art teacher and maker.
You will need to bring: any A5 or A4 Sketchbook with good quality paper/ Drawing pencils | rubber / Black pen and biro| any colouring pencil, crayons or paints you already have (no oil paints, please). There might be an additional cost of up to £5 collected in class for any specialist materials if needed.
Enrolment End Date: Please note that the enrolment for this course closes 3 working days prior to the start of the course. Unfortunately, it is not possible to process late enrolments after that point.
Refreshments are available from the campus vending machines, including hot and cold drinks.
