This course prepares you to work as a gym instructor and enter the fitness industry. If you want to work in a local gym or progress to being a personal trainer your fitness journey starts here. You will learn all aspects of the profession including Anatomy and Physiology, Nutrition, Planning and Delivering fitness sessions and writing Training programmes in our new state-of-the-art gym facility.
Later in the course, there will also be opportunities to attain an NPLQ (national pool lifeguard qualification) and a food hygiene qualification making them incredibly employable in the leisure industry.
This course has been powered and informed by Industry, there is a lack of qualified gym instructors in Suffolk meaning successful students will be at the forefront of the job market. As well as the gym instructors qualification there may also be the opportunity for applicants to achieve an NPLQ (national pool lifeguard qualification) and a food hygiene qualification making them incredibly employable in the leisure industry.
