This course aims to help learners and Health & Social Care professionals to develop their skills and knowledge around caring for the elderly. This single-unit qualification is designed to consider different conditions that may affect older people and the different types of support they may need. The unit also considers different ways of communicating effectively with older people particularly if they have difficulty hearing.
This is a 1-day course, 09:30-15:30, face-to-face with an online assessment to be completed remotely.
Completion of this course comes with an accredited qualification and certificate recognised in industry.

Assessment will include components of practicals in our state-of-the-art Health Science campus, as well as an online suite of assessments to which you will have access.
