The Level 3 Certificate in Swedish Massage is a vocational qualification that will prepare you for a career as a Swedish massage therapist.
This qualification is designed for learners aged 19 years or over and will support you to gain employment as the units contained in this qualification cover all the skills and knowledge required for this role.
This is a vocational qualification and includes all the required elements to work effectively as a massage therapist including, units covering the following: providing body massage, health and safety, anatomy and physiology and client care. Throughout your training programme, you will be required to pass two theory exams and carry out treatments on peers and paying clients, within our fantastic salon facilities in ‘The Zone’ and will provide clients with treatment packages linked to our state-of-the-art spa.
You will develop a range of technical skills enabling you to provide relaxing massage treatments using classical Swedish massage movements. You will also develop interpersonal skills that will assist you to communicate effectively with clients.
Salon Dresscode: Salon Tunic, Black Trousers (no leggings), Flat black leather shoes (no canvas shoes or trainers). Hair up and no nail extensions, Nail/gel polish.
