12 week Part Time 19+ learners | Saturdays 9am -12:30pm
This course is aimed at a range of learners who want to work within the horticulture industry, volunteer or are pursuing a leisure interest.
The qualification allows learners to practice and develop the general skills required in horticulture.
There is no need for previous experience or entry qualifications.
The course covers a range of different subjects:
- Propagating plants from stem cuttings.
- Planting methods and techniques
- Carryout a Garden Survey
- Produce a Garden Design
The course is a popular introduction to the horticulture sector whether you are looking to pursue an interest or develop a career in the industry.
The course will enable the learner to propagate a range of plants and produce a basic garden design.
The course is supported with theory information on the Google classroom facility.
