Course overview

Get ready to take the next step on your educational journey after your GCSEs, and the challenge of a new and exciting type of qualification!

T Levels are the new ‘Gold Standard’ in technical qualifications and are designed to ensure that learners are more employable and enable learners studying this to progress into an Accounting role. A T Level is equivalent to 3 A Levels and is a brand new two-year course, developed in collaboration with employers and providers so that the content meets the needs of the industry and prepares you for the world of work.

T Levels offer you a mixture of classroom learning and ‘on-the-job’ experience during an industry placement of at least 45 days. They will provide the knowledge and experience needed to open the door to skilled careers in management, business, business support roles and administration and/or higher apprenticeship or further education.

The T Level In Accounting is designed to enable learners to become Assistant Accountants.

The T Level is different to the BTEC and A Levels as you will complete a substantial Industry Placement in an accounting department, where you will not only gain the knowledge and skills required to progress into the industry but will also have relevant work experience. The T Level is assessed via two examinations and two projects.
