This study programme is for you if you have a true love and passion for baking. You will work alongside our experienced chefs who will show you how to develop skills to perfect a range of Patisserie and Confectionery items both classical and contemporary. You will be working in our fantastic kitchens and bakery, producing advanced items such as Tortes, Gateau St-Honore, Croissants, traditional French pastries and many other items. Showcasing your skills and creating items to add to our product range served in the Granary. If you are willing, passionate and a team player this is the course for you. Employment opportunities include working in restaurants, bakeries, cafes and bistros as a specialist pastry chef.

Complex Patisserie specialities
International delicacies and treats including Petit Fours
Guest Chef Demonstrations, and opportunities to enter competitions
Patisserie Business ideas, such as Artisan Breads and Preserves
You will also have the opportunity to contribute recipe ideas to our Champagne
Afternoon teas in Shelley’s restaurant
This course will give you the skills to move on to employment in the Patisserie industry at a supervisory level. You may also decide to continue your studies at an advanced Foundation level at University.
No tuition fees are payable for students aged 16 – 18 on 31 August 2017.
