Course Overview

This study programme is for you if you have a true love and passion for baking. You will work alongside our experienced chefs who will show you how to develop skills to perfect a range of Patisserie and Confectionery items both classical and contemporary. You will be working in our fantastic kitchens and bakery, producing advanced items such as Tortes, Gateau St-Honore, Croissants, traditional French pastries and many other items. Showcasing your skills and creating items to add to our product range served in the Granary. If you are willing, passionate and a team player this is the course for you. Employment opportunities include working in restaurants, bakeries, cafes and bistros as a specialist pastry chef.

Entry Requirements

Achieved a Level 2 in a relevant vocational qualification at a Merit grade or above including GCSE English Language & maths at grade C (grade 4) or relevant industrial experience including GCSE in English Language & maths at grade C(grade 4), interview and suitable reference.
