ApplyThis course is based at our Ipswich campus.
This qualification is designed to build the knowledge and skills needed when working with children and young people at an unsupervised level, in a diverse range of job roles, within early learning and childcare. Subjects covered include child development (birth to 7 years), observation, planning, health & safety, safeguarding, and the role of the practitioner (plus much more). Assessment of skills in the real working environment is facilitated by an assessor, alongside knowledge units which are assessed by a tutor following classroom teaching.

Opportunities to work in an unsupervised capacity as:
Or progress onto Level 4 Advanced Practitioner, Foundation Degree at University or Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
19+ fees will be £2882.

This course is part of the National Skills Fund Offer - if you are 19 or above and do not have a level 3 qualification or higher your course will be funded for you.
