This study programme provides a basic introduction to the subjects of media. The course offers introductory units in many of the key areas:
It is a dynamic and interesting course that is suitable for you if you have little or no experience of Media but lots of enthusiasm. The media course is 100% coursework (no exams!) and will end with a final major project which you can choose your own specialism for.
All students who have not achieved a grade 4 (C) or above in GCSE English or maths will need to study these subjects alongside their chosen qualification.

75% of students progressed to level 2 programmes at Suffolk New College including Level 2 Media, Art & Design, and Music Technology. 25% of students have achieved employment or are seeking employment in the creative industries.
No tuition fees are payable for students aged 16 – 18 on 31 August 2020.

Additional Costs
There is a £50 trips payment to be made, to help towards the cost of the trips during the year.
All the help and support I have needed to get me through this course has been really good. I have really enjoyed learning the huge range of different media software. The students I have met on the course have become great friends.
