Report Your Absence

All learners should report their absences using the form below. You must report every day that you are absent. You can call in but you should only do this as a last resort. Parents or carers can also use the form but we would encourage you to report for yourself. You should also use the form to report when you are running late, leaving the college early or if you have a pre-arranged appointment (which needs to be agreed well before the day you are going to be absent). It is a good idea to save this page to your favourites on your mobile web browser so that you can come back to it easily if you need to report your absence.

You should aim for 100% attendance and you should only take time off college for extreme circumstances.

The NHS has a useful guide to help you and your next of kin to decide whether you are well enough to come to college, based on your symptoms.

Please remember though that :

Please Note: The device you use may be set to a different region to the UK and, as a result, the form may be asked to enter your date of birth as MM DD YYYY. If this happens, you can either change the region on your device or write your date of birth with the month first, then the day and finally the year.

Call in

You should only call in if you cannot use the form on this page.

Call the absence line on: 01473 382440 between 08:15 - 09:30 (or 13:30 - 14:30 for evening sessions)
