Salary up to £21,435 per annum pro-rata
25 hours per week for 38 weeks per year (term-time)

We have an exciting opportunity to work within our Estates & Facilities team supporting young people in an education environment and ensuring their safety and welfare is a priority, as either a Daytime or Evening Ranger.

You will have empathy for young people and the personal presence and the ability to challenge inappropriate behaviour and manage difficult situations. Excellent communication and administrative skills are also essential.

It is desirable you hold a qualification in youth work, or the willingness to work towards one, accompanied by Level 2 or equivalent in maths and English alongside a first aid qualification or willingness to undertake training within 6 months.

Afternoon Ranger Hours:
• Monday to Friday 1pm to 6pm

This post is based at Suffolk New College Ipswich Campus. However Suffolk New College is a multi campus site therefore you may be required to work at and travel between campuses.
