Are you ready to make the move from education to employment? The prospects are good at Suffolk New College.
Our apprenticeship programme will provide you with an opportunity to work within the College’s Sports Centre, enabling you to develop core skills and enhance your experience. Upon completion of your role as a Sports Centre Apprentice, you will have been trained in the skills employers want, helping to enhance the choices available to you in your future career.
To apply, you should be aged between 18-24 (due to evening and weekend working) and have a Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths with a commitment to achieving a Level 2 as part of your apprenticeship. An essential contractual requirement of this fixed-term role is to effectively follow an Individual Learning Plan with the aim to complete a Level 2 qualification in Employment Awareness and Active Leisure Learning within a specified time period.
Joining an apprenticeship programme is one of the best ways to start your career by providing opportunities to develop invaluable workplace skills. If successful at interview, you would become employed by the College on a fixed-term contract, and we have earned a good reputation for providing apprenticeship opportunities to young people, a high proportion of which have successfully progressed to both higher level apprenticeships and permanent jobs.
