SEND Officer

Up to £26,829 per annum pro rata

Required for 29.5 hours per week (4 days), please note a minimum of 3 days (22 hours) will be considered.  This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and provide an outstanding service for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Working closely with curriculum teams and external agencies, you will be committed to enabling students to learn, achieve and progress, aligned to our strategic aims, and with regard to the 0–25 SEND Code of Practice (2014).

You should have good knowledge and understanding of the requirements for education providers arising from the 0–25 SEND Code of Practice (2014), and a relevant degree or equivalent in demonstrable experience.

We are looking for potential, not an exact match.  We recognise you may not meet all of the essential criteria but if you have experience of SEND, initiative, good communication skills and can work as part of a team, we would like to hear from you.
