Salary within the range £39,639 to £45,597

37 hours per week for 52 weeks per year but requests for part-time hours or flexible working arrangements will be considered

This dynamic and varied new role is integral to the delivery of Suffolk New College’s ambitious programme of capital developments, curriculum enrichment projects and employer collaborations.

The postholder will work closely with the Director of Business Development and Major Projects to deliver the College’s ambitious programme of major projects, with an immediate focus on the delivery of the regional Local Skills Improvement Fund project, an ambitious programme of capital and revenue projects in the skills sector and on the regional Apollo project, investing in supporting skills development for the healthcare sector.   The postholder will also liaise extensively with external stakeholders and partners, as well as internal teams.

Suffolk New College is a growing and ambitious Further Education College, with a large modern Campus near the Waterfront in Ipswich, a rural and agricultural campus, Suffolk Rural, just north of Ipswich at Otley, and smaller On-the-Coast provision at Leiston and Halesworth.

We are looking for someone with a passion for project management and delivery, an eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, as well as an engaging and articulate communication style.

Working with project teams across all Directorates in the College, and with external partners, contractors and businesses, you will liaise regularly with the Director of Business Development and Major Projects.

This post is based at the Suffolk New College Ipswich Campus, however Suffolk New College is a multi-campus site and you may be required to work at and travel between campuses.   Requests for hybrid and flexible working may be considered.
