National Saturday Club Manager, Art & Design

Suffolk New College is now working with the Saturday Club Trust to offer new National Saturday Clubs to local 13- to 16-year-olds. This opportunity enables local young people to gain experience and the Club Members will be on our campuses every Saturday, learning new skills, meeting new people, and breaking down any barriers to their continued creative study.

We are seeking a National Saturday Club Manager to manage the Art & Design Club. This exciting role enables you to influence and motivate local young people who are considering a future creative career.

In this role, you will also be a part of the National Saturday Club brand and have the opportunity to work with other club tutors/managers across the Country. There are also visits to London within the club year, where all club members showcase their work and share best practice.

The club will run on Saturdays for 3 hours during term time, working over 28 weeks, and is fixed term until 24 June 2023.  There is also an additional 6 hours to be worked at the Summer Exhibition.

You will be someone who has a passion for the subject area of Art & Design, who enjoys working with young people, and who is comfortable in a teaching environment. Ideally, you will have a wide breadth of knowledge and skills across multiple disciplines and confident delivering different subject sessions.
