Part-time 27.5 hours per week working Mon to Fri 9.00am to 3.00pm ideally

Salary within the range of £21,030 to £22,185 per annum pro rata (actual part-time salary from £15,141 to £15,973

 We are seeking an IT Administrative Assistant to join our team, acting as a key point of contact for the wider college when seeking IT support, and offering vital support to our IT department.  The role primarily involves facilitating the smooth operation of the IT department by handling routine administrative tasks.  This includes managing helpdesk requests, responding to helpdesk phone calls and emails, logging requests onto our Helpdesk system and assigning jobs to the IT Administrators, as well as raising quotes, placing and tracking orders and deliveries, and taking meeting minutes and similar administrative tasks.  While the position does not require deep technical knowledge, a basic understanding of IT processes will be beneficial.

This role is best suited for someone who is organized and efficient, is a good communicator, and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously.  The IT Administrative Assistant will ensure that our processes remain streamlined and our team remains well coordinated, allowing the technical staff to focus on resolving IT issues and conduct project work, whilst ensuring that our administrative work is taken care of accurately and in good time.

This main base for this post is the Ipswich Campus, however Suffolk New College is a multi-campus, therefore you may be required to work at and travel between campuses.
