Employer Engagement Advisor

up to £26,829 per annum.  37 hours per week

We are looking for an Employer Engagement Advisor to help us talk to new businesses about working with the College while also maintaining existing networks and professional relationships.

As an Employer Engagement Advisor you will be the first point of contact within the Business Development team for existing employer contacts and new employers seeking to work with the College. You will build strong relationships by providing employers with exceptional customer care and support to ensure we are meeting their business needs. You will be required to promote the College’s offer including work experience and apprenticeships to raise the College’s profile and encourage engagement in College activities. Your relationship with employers will play an integral role in sharing emerging training needs with the Business Development Team.

You will need to be proactive, with great customer service, organisational, IT, and admin skills and have a good standard of education including Maths and English to Level 2 (GCSE C or 4 grade) and a relevant Level 3 qualification.

This main base for this post is the Ipswich Campus, however Suffolk New College is a multi-campus, therefore you may be required to work at and travel between campuses.
