Art & Design
Case Study
“When I left school I knew I wanted to go do something in Art but wasn’t sure exactly what. The National Diploma in Art & Design which offers the opportunity to study various areas, sounded good so I decided to give it a go. I’ve really enjoyed the course. In the first year you are taught different skills and techniques in most aspects of art and design, but in the second year you are given a theme by the tutors and encouraged to develop your own style. This was great as it allowed me to get recognised through my own work and equips students to face the future. I would recommend the course to anyone who is interested in art or who has a creative mind. I’ve now finished the course and have been accepted at St Johns University, York, to study Film & TV Production.”
