This Performing Arts study programme explores a wide spectrum of Performing Arts skills including; Dance, Musical Theatre, Physical Theatre, Acting Techniques, Classical and Contemporary Drama, acting for TV and Film, Scriptwriting for Film and Radio, Theatre in Education, Performing Arts Business and Historical Context. Combining theoretical and practical work the course offers a wide range of Performance opportunities, culminating in a final Performance Showcase.
Successful completion of level 3 Diploma in Performing Arts with GCSE English grade C or above or level 2 Functional Skills English and a successful audition.
The Extended Diploma in Performing Arts provides an exciting and challenging experience that prepares you for progression to HE or work.
By undertaking this study programme you will learn through both practical and theoretical study that informs your practice and provides you with the necessary industry skills.
You will take part in a range of public performances that support development of your interaction with an audience.
The study programme has strong industry links and you will have the opportunity to perform at The New Wolsey Studio and schools in the area.
Students who complete this study programme may progress on to Higher Education in Performing Arts (with significant UCAS points) or into employment within the Performing Arts or related industries.
No tuition fees are payable for students aged 16 – 18 on 31 August 2016

Trips and Visits – £60.00 is payable at the start of the year.
