The Diploma in IT consists of units to be studied. Amongst the subjects studied will be User Support, Fault Diagnosis, Web Site Design, Server and Client Scripting, Computer Systems, Graphics, Animation, Web Design and Cisco Networking.
You will be assessed mainly via individual assessments where you will be required to complete assignments, presentations and workbooks.The CISCO accredited qualification is assessed via an online time constrained examination.

A minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C or above including Maths and English and a 90-Credit Diploma in IT.
You will study technical, creative as well as business uses of IT.
We are one of a few colleges in the region to be able to offer a CISCO accredited additional qualification in 'networking for home and small businesses', which is a highly respected qualification within the IT industry, which will provide you with the opportunity to progress into professional employment.
You also have the opportunity to attend national trade shows, including the London Games Exhibition at Earls Court as well as 'The Gadget Show Live' where you will see some of the latest products in technology.
Students who complete this course may progress on to Higher Education (with significant UCAS points), or you could enter full-time employment as an IT technician or within computer retail. Alternatively, you could enter the apprenticeship scheme at an advanced level.
No tuition fees are payable for students aged 16 – 18 on 31 August 2016
