Our ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) courses are based at our Ipswich Campus.

We offer full-time ESOL for 16-18 years and part-time ESOL for Adults.

ESOL Part-Time (Adults)

This course will involve developing your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Although there is no qualification attached you may choose to take exams at the end of the course if you so wish. You will also find out about life in the UK and share experiences with people from other cultures.

Depending on your level most learners attend between 3-4 hours per week. The tutor will advise you what classes are available to you once your skill level has been established.

Help & Support

Moving from school to college can be something of a culture shock. But at Suffolk New College we’ve created a supportive, social environment where you can easily get access to the help and advice you need, make new friends and get the most out of your time with us.
