EMA Information

Due to the current back log with the processing of EMAs nationally, Suffolk New College has put plans in place to ensure that any student studying with them who has applied for an EMA and has not received their Notice of Entitlement from Liberata working on behalf of the LSC, do not drop out of college or have poor attendance because of financial pressures.

Suffolk New College students who have not receive notification from Liberata and are suffering financial hardship are asked to contact Dawn Harrison, Learning Skills and Advisory Manager on 01473 296355 or call into see her between 12.00 - 2.00 in the college main reception area.

We understand that students who have handed in a contract to the EMA team at the College will be paid on the 19th September 08.

Suffolk New College staff are in daily contact with Liberata to ensure that they are kept up to date on the situation and so can, where possible, minimize disruption to their students.
