GOLD MEDALLIST CONSTRUCTS MOTIVATION

Kriss Akabusi, Olympic Silver Medallist, Commonwealth, European and World Championship Gold Medallist, will be the guest speaker at an event being staged by Suffolk New College on Monday 30 April 2007.

The event being held at Trinity Park entitled ‘Moving Forward in the Construction Industry’ will be attended by many local construction employers.

Kriss’s highly valued motivational presentation – ‘Fit4Business’ - leaves delegates inspired to be the best they can be both professionally and personally through various key themes. These include: setting a vision, focusing on goal setting for teams and individuals, Identifying and overcoming hurdles, using creativity and innovation to achieve outstanding results, and managing change proactively. His humour, energy and infectious enthusiasm ensures that the messages hit home and motivate the audience.

The key note speakers - who will bring delegates up to date on current issues effecting the Construction Industry, training opportunities and funding available - will be Dave Müller , Principal, Suffolk New College; Marilyn Watsham , Deputy Principal, Suffolk New College; Paul Whitmore , AMEC; Paul Howlett , Haven Gateway Partnership, and Paul Freeborough , Suffolk Learning and Skills Council.
