The Hairdressing, Beauty and Holistic Therapies Curriculum Centre at Suffolk New College provides further education and training for students of all ages and abilities who have an interest in this rapidly expanding industry.

The Hairdressing and Beauty portfolio of courses range from NVQs at foundation level to specialist and advanced courses at level 3. A supporting programme of complementary courses is available in, for example, aromatherapy, Swedish body massage, Indian head massage and reflexology.

All courses offered provide exciting and realistic education and training. Our well-equipped Hairdressing and Beauty salons operate with an excellent client base. In support, there are good library and computing facilities including computerised till training.

Trade shows, exhibitions, fashion shows and competitions are an integral part of studies for hairdressing, beauty and holistic therapies. To deliver the curriculum, the Centre has an integrated team of well-qualified lecturers, instructors and technicians all of whom are encouraged to maintain and develop their professional standing and to be fully familiar with current trends in Industry.

The Centre has maintained strong links with Industry through its association with local, national and international companies and suppliers and these in turn contribute to the successful management of the courses.
