The Engineering teaching department forms part of the Automotive, Construction & Engineering Services (ACES) section of Suffolk New College and offers courses at all levels for students who can be full-time, part-time or work-based.
Courses are in three main areas:-
1) Electrical / Electronic Engineering
2) Electrical Installation
Well-qualified, friendly tutors will help you plan your course and then lead you through it with skill and enthusiasm to help you maximise your potential and get good results. For example, you can begin at level 1, and progress through to full time studies at level 3 or move into an apprenticeship. This would enable you to gain valuable work experience at the same time. Practical work is a prominent feature of all courses - this is carried out in a realistic workshop environment susing engineering-specific computers, tools and equipment.
